lea

The office building, which is home to the Lea light overlooks Kings Park, the city of Perth’s central native botanical park. It is here that I stumbled across her inspiration, the local Grevillea flower. Lea’s form is an abstraction of the flower and its elegant curling pistils.

Created from bare copper tube and hand blown glass shades, Lea floats above the building’s central Foyer…. a captured moment in space.

Commissioned by Grant Thornton Australia, this light was designed specifically for its location as an engaging sculptural piece that offers both a lighting solution and its stakeholders a unique addition to it’s brand identity.
