bradleycole was engage to design the lighting for Kristian Brown Organic hair salon in St Kilda, VIC. Kristian’s salon is a member of the Sustainable Salons organisation which collects and recycles most of the waste from hairdressing. Hair, aluminium foil, plastic containers, etc are all recycled to reduce the impact of hairdressing on our planet.

Aligning with the salon’s brand a cluster of bradleycole handmade white and terracotta clay Pod lights were installed as a central feature to the space. These unglazed clay Pods are sealed with a non-toxic natural sealer, and the luminaire is finished with a linen cloth electrical cord.

It’s great to provide lighting consultancy and see our bradleycole pendants lighting up such a honourable space.
