Sited high on the coastal dune system in Sorrento, Western Australia, the design resolution for this project focused on celebrating the 180 degree ocean views and the indoor / outdoor lifestyle offered by its seemingly endless summer location.

The building’s form reaches out and rotates to frame the views for its internal spaces. The first floor living area is designed around a central breezeway that opens to both the ocean views at the front, and to an alfresco dining deck with outdoor kitchen at the rear. This deck leads down to the ground floor swimming pool and a second entertaining area with a portico.

Courtico collaborated with us to lead the interior design finishes and cabinetwork. The project also included feature custom bradleycole luminaires and a custom designed vertical light box, installed as the core for the two storey staircase.
