The existing two bedroom duplex home was too small for the client’s growing family, and was poorly orientated with no north facing living areas. The design resolution added a new north facing living / dining / kitchen pavilion abutting the eastern side of the duplex, and reconfigured the old living areas creating a third bedroom, a formal entry and a new ensuite off the master bedroom.
